BrightStar Care is seeking a skilled and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Weekender Home Health Visit Nurse, On-Call Friday through Sunday, providing skilled nursing visits throughout Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City.
Schedule & Pay:
- On-Call Availability: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (visits scheduled as needed)
- Pay Rate: $55 per hour/visit weekend shift differential
Position Overview:
As our Weekender RN, you’ll be the go-to for urgent or scheduled home health visits during the weekend. Strong infusion skills, particularly peripheral IV therapy, are essential for this role. You will provide critical care services, offer patient education, and support continuity of care.

Primary Duties Include:
- IV therapy (must be proficient in peripheral infusions)
- Wound care
- Medication administration
- Catheter and ostomy care
- Skilled nursing assessments and documentation
- Communication with care teams
Service Areas:
- Las Vegas
- North Las Vegas
- Henderson
- Boulder City
Requirements:
- Active Nevada RN License
- At least 2 year of recent clinical experience (home health preferred)
- Proficiency in peripheral infusions is required
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Current BLS Certification
- Negative TB test (2-step )
- Driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
- Strong mobile documentation skills
