Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Care Client Assessments | Flexible Schedule

BrightStar Care is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) who is intentionally seeking a long-term, part-time role with flexibility in the home care setting.

This may be a great fit for a Registered Nurse who is retired, semi-retired, stepping away from full-time nursing, or simply looking for a flexible way to stay involved in nursing without the demands of a full-time position.

Pay: $45.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time

What You'll Do

As our Home Care Assessment Nurse, you will:

· Meet with new and existing clients in their homes
Complete initial and ongoing nursing assessments
Develop and update client plans of care
Evaluate client needs and help determine appropriate home care services
Communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and our clinical team
Help ensure clients receive safe and appropriate care at home
Complete required electronic documentation during each assessment

A Flexible, As-Needed Schedule
This is not a traditional shift-based nursing position. Assessments are scheduled based on client needs, giving you flexibility without a set Monday-Friday, 8-5 weekly schedule.

The RN We're Looking For

This position is ideal for an RN who:

Is looking for part-time nursing as a long-term fit
Has reliable daytime availability and scheduling flexibility
Can occasionally accommodate weekend assessments
Is responsive when new assessment needs arise
Enjoys working independently and one-on-one with clients and families
Is organized, dependable, professional, and comfortable managing their own schedule
Wants to stay connected to nursing without returning to a traditional full-time clinical schedule
Values flexibility while understanding that reliable availability is essential
Is looking for a role they can settle into and enjoy for the foreseeable future

Qualifications

Active Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; home care experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, documentation, and communication skills
Strong computer skills
Current BLS certification and TB clearance
Valid Nevada driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Ability to travel to client homes throughout the Las Vegas/Henderson area
Consistent daytime availability with occasional weekend flexibility
Dependable and responsive to assessment requests
Comfortable working in homes with pets
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screenings
